Welcome to Lake Michigan Speak Out.  If you're opposed to reckless offshore wind development, such as Scandia's wind power plants proposed for the waters west of Mason and Oceana Counties, and the waters west of Grand Haven, then this website can help make your voice heard ... and heard where it counts.   

Help is provided in three ways:

1.  "Contact Information" presents contact and other information for nearly 200 of our elected and appointed officials. 

2.  "Send Email To" allows you to send an email directly from this website to any of a number of groups of government officials.  For example you can send an email to all Mason County Commisioners, or send an email to the Senator and two Representatives from the Muskegon/Holland area.  You can even send an email to all Representatives and Senators in Michigan's House and Senate.  

3.   "Email Addresses" is designed for those who might prefer to send emails using their own email provider.  It presents email address lists which have been formatted so you can simply copy and paste them into your email.  Several lists are provided, each representing a different set of government officials. 

I hope you find this tool helpful and make ample use of it.  If you've written before, then please write again and keep writing.  Your efforts make a difference.  And if you haven't written yet, then please do so now.  I guarantee that you'll feel better for having done so.
